Vista City's "astrologer to the stars", or at least the local "A" list. He acquired a stolen Babylon cylinder seal with the name Bal-nor-pell on it, the Lord of Flies.
Under the influence of the magic he started to get a set of 12 clay tablets reputed to raise ball-nor-pell. Egyptian national Solomon Magistar tried to stop him and was murdered for his trouble.
After a protracted chase that involved Nickolus Millennium traveling seeming at random about the country they cornered him on the coast of California at sunset as Millennium attempted to work the ritual. Cory, Millennium, and Skip Heinke all went into the water.
Somehow Cory Acosta got them both back on shore in the wild surf. Millennium near drowned did not recover well and is a vegetable in the Big Sur Mental Health Clinic. The cylinder seal also went into the water and was never recovered.
