Red Edition[]
A noted and increasing tendency for so called conservative politicians to try and out right wing each other. Typical signs of The Crazy are a shaky to absent relationship with reality, ignorance of how the government works, out right fabrication of the evils of their opponents, and sucking off big religion at every turn.
The Crazy is most noted when Team Red competes with Team Red. It is a vital part of Team Maroon. Team Scarlet has forsworn The Crazy as part of it's founding platform.
The Rising Tech Boom has Red Crazy biting its own ankles as people turn away from extreme views due to having peace and plenty.
Blue Edition[]
Blue flavored crazy is less visible to the public, but if anything more insidious. It is found in academic institutions as extreme political correctness and the person of the Social Justice Warrior.
Anyone not adhering to their radical idea of what is right is attacked. On College campuses this has gotten to the point of harassing them with campus police, driving people off campus, or even physically attacking anyone that they see as engaging in "cultural misappropriation" or the exercise of free speech they do not agree with. Most often by calling for other SJW to mock them and drive them off campus. No point of view is tolerated by these ultra tolerant people but their own twisted, bullying, and raciest ideas. Mind you it is racism unique to the SJW in that a statement is first judged by who said it, not what is said. If a so called privileged group person disagrees they are dismissed and not worthy of an opinion.
In all cases where they are disagreed with the Gospel dichotomy is followed. If a privileged group person said it they are wrong, no matter what. If an oppressed group person said it they are mistaken as they are oppressed. Under no circumstances can any statement be separated from the assigned group saying it, or a person from their SJW assigned group. Nor can they, themselves ever possibly be wrong.
